A CCCLX innovation in education and solidarity
What if students were to become digital “field doctors”? This is the bold gamble taken by CCCLX with the Clinique de l’IT, an innovative educational program inspired by legal clinics and the model launched in AI by aivancity. Here, students work with small businesses, associations and local authorities to solve their IT problems… while learning under real-life conditions.
A double benefit: learning and helping
Every week, CCCLX students devote between 6 and 9 hours to field missions. Supervised by experts and teachers, they support local structures that are often at a loss when it comes to technological challenges: setting up collaborative solutions, securing the network, choosing digital tools, integrating a cloud, cybersecurity audits… or even an introduction to generative AI!
These interventions are free of charge for beneficiaries. They enable students to develop their professional posture, test their technical skills in real-life conditions, and enjoy a valuable human experience, often fundamental to their career.
Strong regional roots
The IT Clinic creates a bridge between the school and the local economic fabric. The SMEs, associations or local authorities that benefit from this service don’t always have the means to hire an external service provider. Thanks to CCCLX, they have access to personalized, hands-on, agile support – exactly what they’re looking for. Schools are thus playing an active role in the digital transition of their regions.
An educational tool in its own right
Much more than an internship, the Clinic is an integral part of the curriculum: each assignment is analyzed, debriefed, documented and evaluated. Students learn how to formalize a need, dialogue with a customer, produce deliverables, and above all, adopt a consultative posture. It’s a lively and empowering hands-on approach, in line with the realities of IT professions.
Conclusion
The Clinique de l’IT is proof that you can learn by doing, progress by helping, and become a complete professional by confronting the real world. At CCCLX, we don’t train for school but for the field. And here, the groundwork begins in the first year.
